ERDF grants to help businesses in Swindon and Wiltshire recover from the effects of COVID-19 are now open for applications.
The grants, available via The Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership (SWLEP) and funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), are available for SMEs which have been affected following the Coronavirus pandemic.
The money is 100% government funded, and the amounts will be between around £1,000 and £3,000, to be used to:
To be eligible, businesses will have to have been incorporated and trading from 11th March 2019. They will also have to have suffered a drop in income due to COVID-19 and have fewer than 10 employees.
Applicants will be required to complete an online form supplemented by three quotations for desired products and services with personal ID, evidence of business registration and trading since March 2019.
Funding is limited and there is no guarantee that an application will be successful. However, businesses which have received previous grant funding are eligible to apply and will be considered within this scheme.
Businesses will be encouraged to source products and services from within Wiltshire as the SWLEP would like to retain these funds in the region and contribute further to the ongoing recovery efforts of the business community.
