We’re delighted to announce that our accountancy and legal firm Optimum is expanding into Gloucestershire by opening a second office, based in Cheltenham.
At Optimum, we remain almost unique in marrying legal and accountancy disciplines within one company, making for a seamless and cost-effective service for our clients. They include owner managed businesses, individuals, charities, academies and larger commercial organisations.
“We already have a large client base in and around the Cheltenham and Gloucester area so this will allow us to provide them with an even better service, with easier access for face-to-face meetings once Covid restrictions have lifted,” says Rob Stokes, Audit and Accounts Director.
“Members of the team will be permanently located there, as we expand our client base still further and recruit additional staff.”
Rob adds: “We were looking to expand over into Gloucestershire and this location came up at exactly the right time, plus we are directly supporting current and future clients by basing ourselves in the region. We may look at further expansion in the future, but Swindon will remain our headquarters.”
Both Rob and our Assurance & Accounts Manager Hannah Matthews, have previously worked in Gloucestershire and have a large client base in the county.
The new office also provides a focal point for Michael Blaken, Accounts Director, to reach out to his established client base and contacts in the Stroud area.
Hannah says: “This is a great opportunity to re-establish our presence and connections in the county, bringing the unique mix of accountancy and legal services to new clients and like-minded individuals.”
Our new office will be located at The Site – a recently opened, flexible office space, based in renovated and modernised commercial buildings, in the Swindon Village area of Cheltenham.
With The Site bringing together businesses operating in the construction sector solicitor Iain Mason, Head of Legal at Optimum, says:
“We were keen to be able contribute to the developer’s ethos of bringing together construction, property and design professionals with our provision of commercial legal services alongside the accounts and tax services. This combination of advisory services allows us to add great value to our clients and an opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals.”
We are now recruiting for both our legal and accountancy divisions, to work in Cheltenham and Swindon.
