We are proud to have added our name to a campaign to help stamp out homelessness, by becoming a corporate sponsor of Business Against Homelessness.
Run by Swindon homeless charity Threshold – which this year marks its 50th anniversary – Business Against Homelessness enables businesses like ours to demonstrate positive social action across the areas of:
• Excellence in human services
• Community and social impact
• Social and corporate responsibility
Funds raised through the campaign help provide the outreach work of Threshold Homeless Link, Swindon’s homeless charity, which is committed to preventing homelessness, alleviating the associated social exclusion of homelessness, and actively assisting recovery from its effects.
Business Against Homelessness drives profitable, ethical and sustainable growth for the benefit of its members and wider society, right here at home in the heart of our local Swindon community.
We are delighted to be doing our bit to help Threshold, which aims to end homelessness in Swindon and to help vulnerable people create a better life and independence. It offers support in a holistic approach and in a person centred way to local homeless individuals and to those threatened with homelessness.
To celebrate Threshold’s 50th anniversary, the charity is staging a party in the park at the Swindon Bowl in the Town Gardens, on May 14. We’ll be there!
Sponsoring Business Against Homelessness is just one way in which we help our community. Every year, we raise funds for a charity and this year we are backing Wiltshire-based Youth Adventure Trust. We’ve also collected for Swindon foodbank and, more recently, for Ukraine, plus lots more…
