The ideal candidate:
- The successful candidate will be organised, detail-focused and confident working both independently and as part of a small, supportive team.
- Ideally, you will have at least 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing and be confident supporting matters through to completion.
- A law degree, paralegal qualification or relevant legal experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Your duties:
- Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from file opening through to completion, including purchases, sales, remortgages, probate sales, transfers and redemptions
- Handle client enquiries, liaise with all parties and provide clear, proactive updates throughout each transaction
- Prepare and issue contract packs, property reports and supporting legal documentation
- Raise, review and respond to enquiries accurately and efficiently
- Manage the receipt and arrangement of funds in accordance with firm procedures
- Prepare and submit Land Registry applications and deal with requisitions
- Prepare SDLT submissions and carry out post-completion matters
- Support leasehold and new build transactions where required
- Use Leap Legal Software where appropriate; previous experience would be beneficial but is not essential

Schedule:
- This is a full-time, office-based role in Swindon, with working hours of 09:00 to 17:30.
