We love being a sponsor of our local ice hockey team, the Swindon Wildcats. Not only do we have a great advertising board with our business name on it, we also get to attend games from time to time.
Recently, we had a staff outing to Swindon Link Centre – Swindon Wildcats’ home rink – and had a really entertaining evening. We even got to go out on to the ice to meet the players.
We have been along for a private puck shootout on the ice with a few of the players. It was the first time on skates for some of our directors – and it showed! We don’t think the talent scouts for Swindon Wildcats will come call anytime soon!
