Optimum team have charity support in ‘mind’

The generous-hearted team here at accountancy and law firm Optimum Professional Services have announced the charity they will be supporting for 2023 – Swindon and Gloucestershire Mind.

Fundraising is already underway with two of our team – Operations Director Tracey Heath and Accounts Senior Tracey Alexander – taking part in a squat challenge.

The two Traceys are each completing 50 squats a day during February and hope their efforts will kick off the fundraising.

“It’s hard work but great exercise for the start of the year, and we are spurred on by knowing it’s all for such a good cause,” said Tracey Heath.

We support a local charity each year, and for the last two years have been fundraising for Wiltshire-based Youth Adventure Trust, during that time netting a fantastic £4,500.

We came up with all sorts of ways to raise the money, from taking part in a 10 Peaks Challenge, to baking, to running raffles, to walking a half-marathon along the Ridgeway.

Now we’re dreaming up different ways to support Mind. In the meantime, to sponsor Tracey Alexander visit https://www.facebook.com/donate/864105694798865/ or to support Tracey Heath visit https://www.facebook.com/donate/707133517483032/.
