It’s great to be thanked for something, so we were really pleased when the charity we support – Youth Adventure Trust – sent us a ‘thank you’ video they had made, just for us.
We’ve so enjoyed fundraising this year to support Youth Adventure Trust. In fact, we love helping the charity so much that we are supporting them again in 2022.
The Youth Adventure Trust helps vulnerable 11 to 15-year-olds build resilience to face challenges in their lives.
Its outdoor adventure-based Youth Adventure Programme enables young people to challenge themselves, experience success, grow in confidence and develop skills that will last a lifetime.
This year, to help them we took part in the 10 Peaks Challenge, dressed up for Hallowe’en, donned our festive finest for Christmas Jumper Day, and altogether raised more than £2,500.
Next year, we hope to stage even more events, including our popular quizzes where our team, clients and contacts like to pit their wits against one another.
Separately, we also held a collection for Swindon Food Collective, and managed to fill 17 crates with food and Christmas treats for families in the community, who are less well off.
